Terms of Service
Effective date: September 22, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Supply Chain Intelligence Brief and any related services provided by STRABO INSIGHT LLC ("Strabo Insight," "we," "us"). By subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Strabo Insight publishes the Supply Chain Intelligence Brief ("the Brief"), a monthly geopolitical intelligence report covering supply chain risk in Asia and Latin America. The Brief is delivered as a PDF document by email to the address you provide at checkout.
We publish one issue per calendar month. We may occasionally publish additional material at our discretion, but only the monthly issue is guaranteed.
2. Subscription and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the rate shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
Founding rate. Subscribers who join at the Founding Rate keep that rate for as long as their subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current standard rate applies. The Founding Rate closes to new subscribers on November 1, 2026.
Price changes. We may change the standard subscription price on 30 days' written notice to your subscription email. Any change takes effect at your next renewal after that notice period. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again over a period of several days. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.
3. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time through the customer portal link in any billing email, or by emailing chase@straboinsight.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You retain access to any issue published during a period you have paid for. We do not prorate or refund partial months.
Refunds. We do not offer refunds on subscription payments. You may cancel at any time and you will not be billed again, but payments already made are not refundable in whole or in part.
We think this is fair because you can cancel before any renewal, you keep access to everything published during a period you paid for, and the subscription is month to month with no commitment.
Non-delivery. If we fail to deliver an issue for a period you have paid for, we will refund that payment in full. This is the one circumstance in which a refund is given.
4. Your licence to use the Brief
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Brief and use it internally within your organization for your own business purposes.
You may share an issue with colleagues inside your own organization. You may quote brief excerpts externally with attribution to Strabo Insight.
You may not:
- republish, resell, syndicate, or redistribute the Brief or substantial portions of it outside your organization;
- post an issue publicly or to any file-sharing service;
- use the Brief or its contents to build or train a competing intelligence product or a machine learning model;
- remove or obscure any attribution, branding, or copyright notice.
All content in the Brief remains our intellectual property. This licence ends when your subscription ends, though you may retain copies of issues you paid for, subject to the restrictions above.
5. Nature of the Brief: please read this section
The Brief is informational. It is not professional advice of any kind.
It contains analysis, assessments, and forward-looking judgments about geopolitical and supply chain conditions. Assessments are opinions formed from open sources at a point in time. They are not statements of fact, not predictions, and not guarantees.
Nothing in the Brief constitutes investment, legal, tax, trade compliance, customs, or procurement advice. It is not a substitute for your own due diligence, your own legal and compliance review, or advice from qualified professionals in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and for any action you take or don't take, on the basis of the Brief. Sourcing, procurement, inventory, hedging, and commercial decisions carry material financial consequences and are yours alone.
We draw on publicly available sources and apply reasonable care, but we do not warrant that the Brief is accurate, complete, current, or free from error. Conditions can and do change after publication.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, contracts, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or relating to the Brief or these Terms, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Brief or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
7. Your obligations
You agree to provide accurate information at signup and to keep your subscription email current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials and for activity that occurs under your subscription.
We may suspend or terminate your subscription, with a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period, if you materially breach these Terms: in particular the licence restrictions in Section 4.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance. If you don't accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Brief will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
10. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding the Brief and supersede any prior understanding.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
