Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information STRABO INSIGHT LLC ("Strabo Insight," "we," "us") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
We are a small business. We collect very little, and we don't sell any of it.
What we collect
When you subscribe to the Supply Chain Intelligence Brief, we collect through our checkout:
- your email address
- your full name
- your business or organization name
- your payment card details: collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We can see only the card type and last four digits, and your billing country.
- your subscription and payment history, including renewal dates and any failed payments
When you contact us by email or through a form on straboinsight.com, we collect your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
When you visit straboinsight.com, our hosting provider processes standard server request data, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We do not run analytics on straboinsight.com. There is no Google Analytics, no tracking pixel, and no third party advertising or behavioural tracking of any kind. We cannot tell you which pages you visited.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Why we use it
- To deliver the Brief to you each month
- To bill you and manage your subscription
- To respond when you contact us
- To send service messages about your subscription: receipts, renewal notices, failed payment notices, and changes to these policies
- To keep required financial and tax records
- To understand, in aggregate, which organizations and roles our subscribers come from, so we can improve the Brief
We send service messages because they're necessary to provide the subscription; you can't opt out of them while you have an active subscription. If we ever send marketing email, it will be separate and you can unsubscribe from it at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to help us run the business, and only for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or lawful government request, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent, trade, or otherwise disclose our subscriber list to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription and contact details for as long as you are a subscriber, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return.
We keep billing and transaction records for as long as required by tax and accounting law: generally seven years.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to those record-keeping obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you
- get a copy of it
- correct it if it's wrong
- ask us to delete it
- opt out of any sale or sharing of it (we don't do either)
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these, email chase@straboinsight.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first, usually by confirming you control the subscription email address.
If you are in Colorado, the Colorado Privacy Act may give you these rights, including a right to appeal a refused request. If we decline a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Security
We use providers who maintain industry-standard security practices, and we limit access to personal information to what is necessary to run the business. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and our service providers are primarily US-based. If you subscribe from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your country.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will notify subscribers by email and update the date at the top of this page.
